Cinequest Maverick Spirit Award to Fred Armisen, Jane Lynch and Jason Reitman

 
Cinequest will bestow its Maverick Spirit Award to beloved actors Fred Armisen (Portlandia, Saturday Night Live) and Jane Lynch (Glee, Best In Show) plus the powerful writer-director-producer Jason Reitman (Up In The Air, Thank You For Smoking, Juno).

Past recipients of Cinequest’s highest award for outstanding artists and innovators include James Franco, Rita Moreno, Rosario Dawson, Harrison Ford, J.J. Abrams, Kevin Spacey, William H.  Awards will be presented at three different events at Cinequest in San Jose, CA (Silicon Valley), each including a career-to-date highlight video and a moderated conversation:
 

• Jason Reitman event occurs March 5, 1:30pm, Hammer Theatre.
• Fred Armisen event occurs March 11, noon, California Theatre.
• Jane Lynch event occurs March 11, 4:15pm, California Theatre. Ms. Lynch’s event includes a screening of her latest movie, Writer’s Block, written by Carol Leifer (Seinfeld, The Ellen Show).
