The members of European Film Promotion (EFP) have accepted the applications of the Lithuanian Film Centre (LFC) and the Estonian Film Institute (EFI) to become individual members of EFP.

Until now, the three Baltic film institutes had been represented in EFP through the umbrella organisation Baltic Films. It was recently decided that every country should be free to become an individual member of EFP. With the decision taken at the EFP's latest General Assembly, the two institutions will have the opportunity to promote their films and talent independently from their specific countries as from January 2014. The EFP network, which is financially supported by its members and the MEDIA Programme of the European Union, will then consist of 35 member organisations representing 34 European countries.
