The International Film Festival of Morelia, wonderful colonial mexican city, consolidates with great programming in its 14th Anniversary. Daniela Michel, Director, Alejandro Ramirez Eying, and Cuauhtemoc Cardenas Vicpresidente, are responsible for this project; which it is already a great festival; not compete, but enriches the landscape of film festivals in Mexico.
Dietter Kosslick, director of the Berlinale, present at the screening of "Fuocco mare" Rossi, winner of the Golden Bear, on the castaways of the boats that transport Syria and Libya.
Its rich programming also includes the best of Cannes, as "Neruda" by Pablo Larrain, with the presence of the interpreter Gael García and selection of the Critics' Week, with the presence of the programmer, Charles Tesson; also Pierre Rissient - "turns up little more than an assistant director credit on Jean-Luc Godard's" Breathless, actress Clotilde Courneau, who presented "Ciel attendra" about the terrorist attacks in Paris.
Amat Escalante, best director in Venice for "The wilds" -ex aequo, with Russian Konchalovsy- was well received at home.
Natalia Almada; after his success at Cannes with "The night watchman", he presented his first work of fiction, "Everything else"; a mature filmmaker.
Demian Bichir, Mexican actor Academy Award nominee, made his directorial debut with "Circus tales" with a great cast: Arcelia Ramirez, Eva Longoria, Julio Bracho, Ludwika Paleta, and Bruno Bichir, among others.
