‘’EXIT’’ Nominated for the PRIX EUROPA

A new Telefilm* EXIT by KEYFILM and co-producer NCRV for TV Broadcast has been officially nominated by PRIX EUROPE for the prestigious Award  ”Best European Television” in the category Television  2013

 

Synopsis:

 

“EXIT”

 

Exit tells the true story of the bitter reality of asylum seekers and the confrontation between them, the police and the IND.

 

Five rejected asylum seekers decide to resist their forced return and flee on the night of their transport. There is a lot at stake for the authorities and they’ll do everything in their power to find the escaped asylum seekers.  This true story leads to a long night of battle and intrigue where there are no winners.

PRIX EUROPA - The European Broadcasting Festival awards the best European Television, Radio and Online productions each year with the aim of publicising them throughout Europe and supporting their continental distribution and use. It calls on all media professionals and their commitment to quality to compete against each other with their best productions.

PRIX EUROPA has selected 199 European media productions to compete for the

prestigious Awards ”Best European Television, Radio or Online Production of the Year

2013“. For this year’s edition, a total of 664 high quality productions from 36 countries had been

entered, which made for a tough pre-selection.

 

Between 19 and 26 October in Berlin, about 1000 media makers from all parts of Europe

will gather in Berlin in large jury groups to discuss and decide on the prize winners using a

unique adjudication system.

 

The winners will be announced during the Night of Results on Friday, 25 October 2013, at

Haus des Rundfunks, the historic Radio building now home to Rundfunk Berlin-

Brandenburg. On Saturday, 26 October, at lunchtime, there will be an official Awards

Ceremony in the “Rotes Rathaus”, Berlin’s renowned Town Hall 

 

 

KEYFILM:

Three times earlier the producers were winner of the Prix Europa for their telefilms:

Cloaca, Single Play Chopsticks and De Uitverkorene.

Currently KeyFilm is filming Nena a Dutch-German co-production directed by Saskia Diesing. And coming up the feel good bike film Ventoux and the epic feature House of the Mosque based on a Dutch bestseller to be directed by Bahman Ghobadi.
